Massive Residential Proxy Network: Blocked Destination Categories

Last Updated: 16 July 2026

Massive blocks requests to the following categories of destination at the network layer. Category lists are sourced from third-party, industry-standard blocklist providers and are refreshed automatically on the provider’s release cycle.

Blocked Categories

Prohibited Activity

The following are prohibited under Massive’s Acceptable Use Policy regardless of destination:

Sanctioned Jurisdictions

Massive does not knowingly conduct business with individuals or entities located in, ordinarily resident in, organized under the laws of, or otherwise subject to comprehensive sanctions administered by OFAC, the EU, the UK, or the UN. This includes Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia.

Exceptions and Waivers

The categories above are the default posture applied to every customer at onboarding.

Category-level exceptions may be granted to a specific customer where a legitimate business need is established and verified through Massive’s customer due diligence process. Threat intelligence, open-source intelligence, security research, brand protection, and fraud investigation are recognized use cases that may require access to categories blocked by default.

Exceptions are granted per customer and per category. They are scoped to the verified use case and documented in the customer’s agreement. Requests are reviewed as they are received. Existing exceptions are re-reviewed against every list refresh. Access is withdrawn if the use case changes or the terms of the exception are not met.

Child sexual abuse material is never subject to exception or waiver, under any circumstance, for any customer, for any stated purpose. There is no review path and no approval path. Requests are declined and the account is escalated.

The prohibited activity and sanctioned jurisdiction sections above are not subject to exception.
